After welding, the base metal has small deformation, shallow penetration and relatively low welding strength (according to the specific classification of stud diameter, such as M6 studs, the maximum torque of star brand capacitance discharge stud welding machine can be about 15kn); standby Note: special welding studs for capacitance shall be selected for the capacitor discharge stud welder, i.e. the studs with arc striking points on the end face.
 
Applicable industries: electrical cabinet, kitchen cabinet, safe cabinet, elevator and other industries.
 
S / N 2: this example is the welding of small diameter studs on the thin plate. It is required that the thickness of the welding base metal shall not be less than 1 / 8 of the stud diameter and ≥ 0.6mm. After welding, the deformation of the base metal is small, the penetration is slightly shallow but deeper than that of the capacitance discharge stud welding machine, and the welding strength is high (according to the specific division of the stud diameter, for example, M6 studs, the short cycle arc stud welding machine of star brand can achieve The torque is about 30KN);
 
Note: the end face of short cycle arc stud welding pin is generally divided into arc face, expansion head, complete head, flange head, etc., and its protection mode is generally divided into: "no protection", "gas protection", "porcelain ring protection", etc.
 
Applicable industries: automobile manufacturing, high voltage distribution cabinet, mechanical sheet metal and other industries.
 
No. 3: in this case, small diameter studs are welded on the thick plate, and the thickness of the base metal is required to be greater than 2mm; in this welding process, the penetration is deep, usually 1-3mm, and the welding strength is high (the torque value is greater than the capacitance discharge stud welding machine);
 
Note: there are welding studs specially used for long-period arc stud welding machine. The studs can be threaded, half threaded or unthreaded. Generally, the studs have arc starting points.
 
Applicable industries: machining, welding of water-cooled nails on the water-cooled wall of boiler, etc.
 
 
 
Others: 1. When the welding diameter of arc welding machine is less than 10 mm, unprotected, gas protected and porcelain ring protected can be selected;
 
2. The maximum welding diameter of capacitor welding machine is 10 mm;
 
3. The surface of capacitor welding shall be free of water, oil, rust, etc;
 
4. At present, the maximum diameter of arc stud welding is 32mm.

Inverter arc stud welding machine is usually suitable for stud welding on steel structure projects.
